The tools
Planning the experiment before the order
Four doors: how much to order, the ASO mapper, the research desk's gene pages, and the window tool each of those pages carries.
Ordering
How much to order
Calculate the amount of ASO an experiment needs, across conditions, time points and technical replicates. The recommended working range, the dilution from stock, and the usage guidelines for both self-delivering (sdASO) and transfection-optimized (toASO) products are on the same page.
Mapper
ASO mapper
Map an oligonucleotide onto a window of one transcript: its length, its G and C content as a percentage of that length, the exons it falls in, and where it matches or differs from the window. The melting temperature and free energy of an unmodified oligonucleotide against its RNA target are printed with the model, the citation and the conditions beside the number, and are withheld, with the published guidance in their place, for a modified one.
Research desk
Explore a gene
One page per gene in human, mouse or rat, with the transcripts a design targets drawn, where the gene is expressed, the protein it encodes, the diseases, variants and constraint on record, the non-coding RNAs at its locus and the papers, each panel saying where its data came from, and three more doors that start from a pathway, a disease or a tissue.
On every gene page
A window on one transcript
On the transcripts panel of every gene page, the drawn map chooses a region of one isoform and the sequence chooses the exact window, and the panel prints its length, its G and C count as a percentage of that length, its composition, the exons it falls in, whether it crosses a junction and its antisense strand, with a door to the ASO mapper for that window.
