yylncT Defines a Class of Divergently Transcribed lncRNAs and Safeguards the T-mediated Mesodermal Commitment of Human PSCs
An AUMlnc antisense oligonucleotide against the long non-coding RNA yylncT stopped human pluripotent stem cells committing to mesoderm, showing the transcript itself keeps the BRACHYURY locus active.

Discovering long noncoding RNA predictors of anticancer drug sensitivity beyond protein-coding genes
AUMlnc sdASOs against EGFR-AS1 and MIR205HG, added straight to the medium of two human lung cancer lines, slowed growth and shifted the EGFR isoform ratio, turning two computationally predicted erlotinib biomarkers into functional ones.

The lncRNA SLNCR Recruits the Androgen Receptor to EGR1-Bound Genes in Melanoma and Inhibits Expression of Tumor Suppressor p21
AUMblock sdASOs added to the medium of patient derived melanoma cultures, with no transfection reagent, reduced proliferation by breaking the SLNCR to androgen receptor interaction while leaving the long non-coding RNA itself intact.

KCTD15 is overexpressed in human childhood B-cell acute lymphoid leukemia
Silencing KCTD15 with self-delivering antisense oligonucleotides at 8 μM left about 80% of an MLL-rearranged childhood leukaemia line dead by day 16. A scrambled control showed no appreciable increase in mortality over untreated cells.

Dual Mechanisms of Action of Self-Delivering, Anti-HIV-1 FANA Oligonucleotides as a Potential New Approach to HIV Therapy
AUM co-authored work in which self-delivering AUMsilence sdASOs entered 82.9% of primary human blood cells with no delivery agent and reduced HIV-1 p24 by 69-95% at 400 nM against untreated cells, where the scrambled control of the same chemistry gave 30%. Suppression was still measurable 13 days after a 3 μM treatment, with no immune activation.

Bone marrow–specific loss of ABI1 induces myeloproliferative neoplasm with features resembling human myelofibrosis
AUMsilence sdASOs against ABI1, at 15 μM for 48 hours in primary human CD34 positive cells with no transfection reagent, silenced ABI1 by more than 50% and nearly doubled the fraction of cells in S phase.

Episomal HBV persistence within transcribed host nuclear chromatin compartments involves HBx
AUMsilence sdASO added to hepatoma cells at 500 nM with no transfection reagent silenced the hepatitis B X messenger RNA and made the viral episome less stable, with episome levels falling from 48 hours onward.

NOVA1 regulates hTERT splicing and cell growth in non-small cell lung cancer
An AUMsplice oligonucleotide against a splicing enhancer inside intron 8 of the telomerase transcript moved splicing toward the inactive exon skipped isoform in a lung cancer line expressing NOVA1, and did nothing in a matched line that lacks it. The paper calls that shift significant in its text and reports the test on the panel that quantifies it as p greater than 0.05.
